About 5 Cyclone Squadron

About the Squadron

Building Future Leaders in Aviation and Citizenship.

Established in 2005, 5 Cyclone Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron has grown quickly and serves youth from Russell, Embrun, Vars, Greely, Winchester and surrounding areas.

The cadet program, in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces and local organizations, offers its members a fun, challenging, safe and inclusive environment to practice a range of practical skills and develop leadership and citizenship qualities. We deliver a regular, structured weekly training program as well as optional activities where cadets will find themselves participating in a whole host of activities such as: aviation training, survival training, physical fitness, music training, military drill, marksmanship and so much more!
